Shaquille O’Neal regretted his divorce from Shaunie. “I was bad. She was awesome,” he said in 2022 while discussing his failed marriage. He admitted he made some horrible mistakes that led to their separation. Their divorce was finalized in 2011. Shaq realized he wasn’t a husband anymore, but he knew he would always be a father.

As O’Neal put it, he “lost it all” in his divorce. Of course, none of this is a bother for Shaunie Henderson. In a new update from her Instagram handle, the 48-year-old was seen hanging out with her three sons, Myles, Shareef, and Shaqir, to celebrate National Son’s Day.
Sharing some wholesome pictures of her memorable moments with the youngsters, Shaunie added, “My 3 SONS! #nationalsonsday.”

Shaunie and Shaq have practiced good diplomacy in co-parenting their children. But Shaq still blames himself for running their relationship.
Several NBA stars have dished out a majority of their net worth towards divorce expenses. Such is the story of Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal. In a speech during the TechCrunch Disrupt 2023, ‘Big Diesel’ shared an insight into how investments have helped him to reach a net worth of around $400 million. Revealing an older story, Shaq recalled how he got lucky meeting four “distinguished gentlemen“.
They gave the 4x NBA champion an early tip about a then-budding company by the name of Google. Though the meet-up was an informal one, after an engaging talk with them, Shaq decided to have a proper meeting to discuss further the soon-to-be trillion-dollar business.
