Draymond Green did it again! Once again, the Golden State Warriors player made headlines for his unsportsmanlike conduct. The player was ejected for the third time from his game after his loss of control on the court. During his latest game with the Phoenix Suns, Green struck opponent Jusuf Nurkic marking his 18th ejection. In a clip, Green was initially seen holding Jusuf Nurkic off with his back to the player, following which he eventually struck him in the head, leading to the officials issuing a flagrant 2. While Green might be suspended, Hill shared how the player needs to control his frustration.
He emphasized the Warriors’ dire need for Green’s “leadership,” but unfortunately, his recent actions have become a hindrance to the team instead of assisting.

Analyzing and contextualizing his actions, Hill suggested, “We know Charles has talked about it and maybe some of that is lashing out in frustration because you can see the writing on the wall… I’m only speculating and saying that but you know this can’t happen you know a month from when the last incident happened, and I expect it’ll be you know some serious time missed for Draymond again, this Warriors team started 6-2, they’re 4- 11 since.” He added, “and now I’m realizing tonight was a microcosm of that struggle Draymond ejection.”

Another member of the panel, Jamal Crawford also expressed the issue with the 4x champion. While he has high regard for Green, Crawford isn’t impressed with the latest developments. He said, “I love Draymond to death but to be honest with you there’s no place for that in the game like I was looking to see.”
After the game, Green explained the reason behind hitting Nurkic. He said that it wasn’t intentional. He elaborated, “I am not one to apologize for things I mean to do, but I do apologize to Jusuf because I didn’t intend to hit him.”

However, despite his apology, it might be hard for him to evade suspension this time. What are your thoughts? Just a month ago, he was suspended from 5 games for the chokehold incident involving Klay Thompson, Jaden McDaniel, and Rudy Gobert.

Draymond Green made news for the chokehold incident
As mentioned earlier, this was his third ejection. The first occurred on November 11. During his game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, he received two technical fouls. The infamous second incident took place against the Minnesota Timberwolves when he put Gobert in a headlock.
Other players involved in the incident, McDaniels and Thompson were fined $25,000 by the league. Along with the five-game suspension, Green was fined $769,704. What do you think the decision from NBA authorities will be this time?
