Hall of Fame-bound Dwyane Wade and his family are thrilled about the gala day and so are the fans. The player has been seen celebrating the achievement with his family and friends. Ahead of the formal induction, the 13-time All-Star opened up about his feelings.

Alongside other NBA legends, Wade will get inducted into the 2023 class of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. With a couple of days remaining before the enshrinement ceremony, the athlete looks upon his 16 years of a glorious career.

On the LeBatard Show, the 3-time NBA champion spoke about the most significant things about his career and life. The athlete shared details about his biggest inspiration and the love and support he has received from his friends and family. When the host asked him about his Hall of Fame speech and the new chapter of his life, the player revealed his true emotions to the public.

He shared, “I already know I am already having out of experience. A lot of people are like, ‘Are you excited? How do you feel?’ I feel out of body, I feel numb.”

He almost felt like he had attained Nirvana. Revealing his feelings of disbelief, he said, “I never dreamt of greatness. Man this moment for us we are just trying to take it in we are trying to enjoy it this doesn’t happen to a kid like myself.”

This is indeed an exciting and thrilling moment for the Wade family. Taking the entire fandom by surprise, he chose his favorite NBA icon, Allen Iverson over his friends to present him into the Hall of Fame.

Well, this new hilarious story about Wade and his daughter Zaya shows his family’s happiness. After the news was announced, the athlete asked his daughter to change his name from ‘DAD’ to ‘HOF.’ 

In a TikTok video, he was seen saying, “You got to change my name from ‘dad’ to ‘HOF’ in your phone.” Fans were quite excited to see the player having fun with his family.
