Michael Jordan sent shivers down the spine of his opponents. He has rightfully acquired the reputation of the greatest scorer of all time. Every time he stepped on the court he used to wreck havoc on the opposing defense. There are not many who have gained an upper hand on His Airness. But there is a certain ball legend who has the bragging rights of embarrassing MJ in front of hundreds.

While most modern NBA stars boast full-sized courts in their homes, this was not always the case. Just a few decades ago, fans could often see their favorite players balling out in their local parks. On one such day, Mike saw the tables turn on his winning ways.

Dominique Wilkins is one of the most celebrated players in NBA history. The 6’8″ wing featured for the Atlanta Hawks and has got well over 25000 points to his name. Although he didn’t win any championships during his career, he was still inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2006. Recently, The Human Highlight Film touched up on the time when he brutally nutmegged Michael Jordan in a informal pick up game.

In a conversation with Vlad TV, the interviewer asked, “You actually nutmegged Jordan in that game. Like I watched the video this morning.”

The 63-year-old replied, “That particular game was more just about fun and for the fans. It was a three on three pick up game. Yeah, we played a little serious. But it was more for them than for us.”?

Dominique Wilkins might be one of the very few who have nutmegged?The Black Cat in his career. This was a rather interesting revelation as one would have never imagined the Chicago Bulls legend letting such a thing go.

During the same interview, Wilkins opened on a factor of the modern game that he was not a fan of.

Some of the best slam dunk contests took place in the 1990’s. With Michael Jordan, Vince Carter and Dominique Wilkins showing off their flamboyant dunking ability.

Turns out, the 2-time Dunk Contest winner is not a fan of the modern day event and went down heavy on the present generation’s NBA stars.

“I don?t think anybody want to know who the best is. We wanted to know who’s the best when Michael and I went head up, we wanted to know who the best was.? And it really wasn?t about us, it was about the fans, you know. We did it for the fans, we didn?t do it for us.”?
