Howling With ‘Coyote’, Shaquille O’Neal Hits New Heights, Aiming to Benefit From 24 Months Long Relationship

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is hands down one of the most versatile men on the planet. Apart from being one of the greatest centers in NBA history, he’s also a renowned disc jockey. His career in the music industry began all the way back in the 90s, though. He collaborated with music icons like Snoop Dogg, Notorious B.I.G., and Michael Jackson in the past. Turns out that Shaq is still expanding his music horizons as he’s set to collaborate with a rather intriguing pair of musicians.

DJ Diesel can be spotted performing at various music festivals all around the world. He recently made the crowd groove to his music at the Lollapalooza Music Festival in Chicago. Moreover, a music duo revealed that DJ Diesel might be collaborating with them.

Shaquille O’Neal set to howl soon

The Coyotes is a famous music duo from Hawthorne, LA. They personify the animal by wearing its masks. It’ll be interesting to see what happens when the 4x NBA champion collaborates with the music duo. They earlier revealed the collaboration in a short clip uploaded online in a spectacular fashion where Shaq can be seen howling.

The duo recently appeared on the 935 KDAY podcast where they said, “We got two songs with Shaq. Don’t know if both of them are gonna come out but one’s gonna come off for sure. But yeah, just built a relationship with him. Both through DMs and eventually just got the record done.”

They also revealed how O’Neal had reached out to them after being impressed with their work. “It’s been like a two-year relationship building thing with him. He started sharing our stuff a lot, commenting on our stuff. So we were trying to water it tastefully.” After asking Shaq for a collab, they sent a sample to him and it impressed the big man so much that he gave his approval within hours.

The basketball and the music world will be eagerly waiting for the collab. However, the former Los Angeles Lakers star is not the only one in his family making waves in the music industry. Shaq happens to be quite an inspirational figure in his family, as the majority of his kids have taken up basketball as a career, while one of them is already an established music artist.

Myles O’Neal releases first music track

Myles O’Neal followed in his father’s footsteps and became a DJ. The 25-year-old released his first-ever music track this year in collaboration with Hadar Arora. Myles has previously mentioned that his father instilled a love for music inside him.

Myles has also toured with Shaquille O’Neal to perform at various major events. He also had a set at Shaq’s fun house, which is an annual music hosted by Shaquille O’Neal and Medium Rare. The father-son DJ duo even performed at the UFC 290 afterparty where they were joined by Alexander Volkanovski along with other stars.
