NBA fans and enthusiasts from around the world are still reeling from what they saw during the recent FIBA World Cup. They witnessed Team USA going so far as to reach the semi-finals, only to let the trophy slip from their hands against Germany. If that wasn?t enough, the team also ended up losing the bronze to Canada. The 4th place performance has created a backlash from the fans. And 2x Olympic gold medalist LeBron James already seems to have eyes set on Paris 2024.

The Los Angeles Lakers star is looking to form a team that will take on the world next year. At the same time, a former Orlando Magic athlete pleads twice to be included in the potential Redeem Team.

Dwight Howard leaves a voicemail for LeBron James

A few hours ago, Dwight Howard shared a series of clips that started off with the 37-year-old practicing on the basketball court. An individual named Chase Walker approached the player, dragging with him a picture encased in a big frame. Walker pointed out Howard?s presence in the Dream Team. The player pointed out that it?s not the Dream but the 2008 Olympics Redeem Team.

Despite that, Walker also pointed out how in spite of his contribution, Howard?s name is not popping up in the current Revenge Team?that LeBron James is putting together.

?Steph is there, Book got Booked, AD is there,? said Walker during the video. ?It?s a damn shame that you aren?t on there,??he finished.

Howard?s companion suggested that the player call up the Lakers star and address this issue. Howard obliged. He called up LeBron but the King wasn?t answering. This led to Dwight leaving a hilarious voicemail message, pleading LBJ to be included on the team.

?I just got back from Taiwan. I need to be on the redeem team. The ?real? redeem team,? said Dwight in his voicemail message.

Howard?s voicemail message comes barely a day after the 8x NBA All Star issued a warning to the Lakers star.

After Team USA?s disappointing loss, rumors started to kick in that LeBron James is in the process of lining up players for a ?super team?. A team that will take on the world during the 2024 Paris Olympics and bring home the victorious title.

The rumored lineup caught the attention of Dwight Howard. Highlighting it in a post, the 37 year went on to state ?I like what I see but don?t leave ya boy out ?if ya leave me out I?m playing with Taiwan and I?m dropping 85.?
