Tim Duncan and Allen Iverson are two NBA legends with completely different playing styles. Tim Duncan was a post player who relied on his solid fundamentals to score and rebound. He is arguably one of the greatest and most efficient center/power forwards of all time. Allen Iverson, on the other hand, was the kind of player who relied more on his dribbling, speed, and overall toughness (the ability to take contact and still finish).

Standing at 7’4”, Victor Wembanyama is one of the NBA?s most promising rookies of all time. His performance in the NBA preseason games and in the first few games of the regular season have been absolutely amazing.
In a recent podcast episode of ?Gil?s Arena?, the 41-year-old Wizards legend, Gilbert Arenas, encourages Wembanyama to adopt a similar playing style to that of Allen Iverson after one of the co-hosts mentions that Victor Wembanyama should stick to playing on the post like Tim Duncan.
?Gilbert Arenas states, ?We already know it’s going to be a fail if he?s (Wembanyama) never been a post player. Tim Duncan was a post player, that was his bread and butter.? Many NBA experts including former NBA veterans like Gilbert Arenas expect Victor Wembanyama to ?take over? the NBA, provided he doesn?t get injured like how Ralph Sampson did in the 1980s.
