Recently, the former Australian pro sat down for an interview to recall a journey through the years.?Longley was asked about the fandom around the Bulls in MJ’s era. To that, he said in the interview, “Um, I mean describing frenzied crowds at hotels and people lining the freeway as our bus drives down to win our 70th game… and going to arenas that are normally half full and having a place chock-a-block; that’s one way of describing it.”
Back in the day, every time the Bulls played, massive crowds gathered to fill arenas. During the interview, Longley also revealed his favorite story from his time with the Chicago-based outfit. He revealed, “But my favorite way of describing it was that Phil had a video room and he had a photo on the wall. The story goes that this guy had gone to Tibet to do a pilgrimage and had walked for three days into the middle of nowhere.”
