Rondae Hollis-Jefferson last played in the NBA in the 2020–2021 season. However, since then, Hollis-Jefferson has gone on to rise in fame after his departure. He went viral earlier this year following his performance in the FIBA World Cup. Funnily enough, he went viral for looking and playing like Kobe Bryant.
In a recent report from the Punch, Hollis-Jefferson is titled as the missing player for Jordan to win in the Asian games. He led the game with 17 points. Apart from playing like Kobe, he also wears the #24 jersey, just like the Los Angeles Lakers legend.
He initially got chants of Kobe from the crowd after his performance against New Zealand in the FIBA. He scored 39 points and led his team. The media dubbed him the “Kobe Bryant clone”. He has been making 4 point plays to scoring in bulk and definitely resembles Kobe.
Ahmad Al-Dwairi is the center for Jordan. He said during the interview, “I think he was the missing piece for our team”.

How can Rondae Hollis-Jefferson play for Jordan?
Hollis-Jefferson played in the NBA for six years. He is an American. After the 2021 season, he took his talents overseas and played in various countries. He played in the Philippines and wanted to represent them in the FIBA.
But FIBA rules state that every team could have only one naturalized player, and they already had Jordan Clarkson. So, with his agent, he decided to represent Jordan. Now Hollis-Jefferson wants Jordan to win gold after everything the country has done for him.
