Gabrielle Union is one of the most popular members of the WAGS club of the NBA. Despite being married to NBA legend and Hall of famer Dwyane Wade she’s quite successful in her own right. She’s featured in various movies for the past many years and is one of the accomplished actors in Hollywood. She was recently seen talking about a project worth $3 million which was close to her heart, and which made her aware of a ‘deep wound’.

In conversation with the Washington Post, she said, “She was full of rage, and she couldn’t direct it at the institution because she had dug in, so she directed it at her child because she got sold a bill of goods.” Union continued, “Oh, you found the wound. Welcome. And then it started to fester and grow like a f—–g cancer.”

She made it clear that she tried relating to the character of the homophobic parent and realized that both of them were the victim of the same system that oppresses black folks.
