The interactions were so heartwarming, Magic and Cookie’s famous friends had to chime in. Beyonce’s mom and Cookie’s best friend, Tina Knowles, commented, “Beautiful family.”

Even LaTanya Jackson, who is on the vacation with them, couldn’t resist declaring Magic, “Our Ambassador to All of Europe.” LaTanya and her husband, Samuel L. Jackson, along with Cedric the Entertainer and his wife, join the Johnsons on vacation almost every year. So they’ve probably seen this side of Magic personally more times than we have.

The mega-watt smiling 5x champion  had so far made people crave an R&R and also inspired them to stay fit even on a holiday. Now he’s filling us with fuzzy warmth.

The Magic smile that wins hearts

Magic Johnson may have retired from a storied NBA career in 1991. Yet three decades since, he remains a recognizable and beloved celebrity. One fan summarized that little video is the reason for it. “That’s so gracious and pure class to take photos … when you have game it comes with the package and it’s always nice that people remember them … great heart.”

This is typical Magic 24×7. Heather B of Sway in the Morning, had a similar story to corroborate. “so let’s just say Magic Johnson has been famous for about 40 years give or take. To watch this man take pics with every single person who asked, on the beach, in the sun, with his kicks in his hand is something to admire. He was a guest with us on the SwayInTheMorning Show some years back and I watched him do the SAME THING with the cameras on and OFF. It was truly something to see then…and I’m even happier to know he continues to walk with grace. Salute to you! May GOD continue to BLESS YOU and YOUR FAMILY.”

A fan who ran into him in Capri couldn’t contain her gratitude for Johnson’s graciousness either. “you’re amazing with people magic. I could experience that in Capri and you even had a chat with me as there were no fans around and was a highlight in my holidays.”

Magic Johnson the health advocate and philanthropist shines through the headlines. It’s these incidents that truly move hearts. “this brings tears to my eyes to see firsthand what a giving person you are — I know how giving you are from the “Global Headlines” but to see it first hand on a random beach in Europe is so touching.”

Magic thanked fans for showing him love. But as one fan wrote, “Gotta give the fans the love back right?! I love that you make time for that.” That love goes both ways Magic.
