Kobe Bryant is still the figure inspiring young athletes to hustle. Through his sports academy, the LA Lakers legend dedicatedly worked toward the future of the game. The tactics and techniques used by the five-time NBA champion showed quality progress over the years. This venture initially started by Chad Faulkner, still beholds the spirit and legacy left behind by the 15-time all-star.

A recent viral post reminisced about one of the greatest feats of growth shown by a Mamba-led team. Even a son of Kobe’s former teammate shared the post. Let’s find out more about this iconic turnaround that made Kobe proud.

If it hadn’t been for that tragic helicopter crash, Bryant would’ve made an excellent coach. The abundant knowledge of the game possessed by the 2008 NBA MVP helped cultivate the talents of tomorrow. Kobe’s ‘Never say die attitude’ assisted the athletes of his academy in constantly working to improve. A recent post captured that phenomenon. 

The Instagram post presented a photograph of a young Women’s team wearing Mamba jerseys.  It was originally uploaded by Kobe Bryant on his Instagram. The post brought attention to the eye-popping score and Kobe’s inspirational caption.

The reactions has been pouring in ever since.

One of the fans took to Instagram as he expressed his thoughts by writing, “He was probably pissed that they allowed their opponents to score more than they did in the first game”.

Another user by the name agc133 posted a comment on Instagram saying, “The only dude that took stuff more personally than MJ”. 

Similarly, a netizen claimed that Bryant got every ounce of his revenge, commenting, “Nah he really got it back in blood.”

Another user was taken a back at the scoreboard when he wrote, “115-27 is crazy”. 

User named m1gueell wrote, “how my score be looking on 2k”.

One of the user jokingly pointed out and said, “Letting them score five more points than last time… unacceptable.”

Mamba Sports Academy To Sports Academy

The Black Mamba joined the academy established by James Faulkner as a youth basketball team coach in 2018. However, when the Laker star became an official partner, the name was changed to Mamba Sports Academy.

Kobe’s tragic passing in 2020 shook the basketball world. While many are still reeling from the loss, it also resulted in the academy making a notable change. They returned the name to its original one, Sports Academy, with respect to the name associated with the deceased.
