When we talk about the most storied duos in NBA history, one name stands atop the rest. While the likes of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen dominated the 90s, no pair caught fans’ attention like this pair. For the Los Angeles Lakers, the start of the 21st century signaled a return to relevancy. Even though Showtime with Magic Johnson at the helm was fantastic, the franchise was going through a rough patch. But, that changed in 1996. The team drafted a kid by the name of Kobe Bryant while trading for Orlando’s big man, Shaquille O’Neal.

The rest, as they say, is history. Having two remarkable talents saw the duo compete on and off the court. When resurfaced footage from a practice session became viral, fans couldn’t help but pitch in their two cents. And joining the fans was one special member.

Whether it was running the fast break or showing off a twitchy crossover, the big man could do it all. So, seeing Shaq show off some smooth handles left fans, and his son Shaqir, who recently confirmed his religion, impressed.
