Cutting time from his busy schedule, Shaq recently showed up at his daughter’s game. Ma’erah O’Neal, the 17-year-old daughter of Shaq, follows in her father’s footsteps. She is a basketball player for the Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California. She recently uploaded a clip from one of her recent games where her legendary father was also in attendance. Dressed in all black, the proud father showed up at a high school game, ditching every other plan. While Ma’erah was making buckets on the court, the proud father was seen smiling ear to ear, showing the pride he has in his little girl.

At the end of the clip, in a heartwarming gesture, the 7 foot 1 legend gave a kiss to his 6 foot 4 daughter, appreciating her efforts on the court.

Shaquille O’Neal’s “PPL” theory

Shaq is nicknamed the Big Aristotle for a reason. The Big Man has accumulated decades of wisdom and happily imparts to those who listen to him. Diving deep into the importance of family and why we should always take care of the family, Shaq once talked about the “PPL” theory. He said, “PPL stands for every man when it comes to a woman. Must abide by the PPL rules, some do, some don’t, Protect, Provide, and Love. You Protect your family, you protect your women, Even if you’re not with them, Don’t Matter if you don’t get along.”
