An irritated Durant replied, “At some point, yall non-athletes gon realize that friends compete harder against one another”, which got a lot of support from the internet as well as LeBron James. The 38-year-old shared a picture of Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley happily interacting on the court during a game. Well, Gilbert Arenas joined the party too.

During the latest episode of his podcast on YouTube, Arenas was in disbelief after reading the fan’s tweet. The Wizards icon straight away went, “514(the Twitter user) I guess he actually never played sports or he don’t have no friends.”

Arenas further added, “Your real friend, you play 2k that turns into a fight. If you ain’t start 2k…and y’all didn’t go on the court and then fight after that, you all wasn’t real friends.” Justifying his statement, Arenas shared, “Your friend is the one who knows everything about you, the one that’s gonna push all the buttons… it’s war. You guys don’t wanna lose.”

In fact, he termed it as “worst matchups”, as they are the hardest battles. Social media believes the same as well. Fans seem to be on the same page as Arenas. Well, looks like the Twitter user has learned his lesson.
