It was a 35-point blowout victory for the Denver Nuggets in the recent matchup against the 76ers. The former now has 4 wins in the last 5, while the latter has lost 7 straight games. It’s their big superstar who has missed the last 10 games as he recuperates from a left knee injury. Interestingly, Joel Embiid has played in Denver since December 2019, which gave some fans another reason to troll the Center. Gilbert Arenas and his crew too took some jabs at Embiid and praised Jokic for one major feat.

“But at the end of the day, one is a professional. From when he was overweight when he came into the league and he slim.” Agent Zero spoke about Nikola Jokic’s transformation in the league and his availability to play the majority of the games.

“He’s available like his impact is consistent. It’s like it’s going to be the longevity like when he was out there like he was out there he was available. Yes, Embiid had the offensive talent, but he was never available to play, he was always hurt.”

Previously, Josiah Johnson, the host of the show, shared the stats of the Center’s matchup against each other. The 76ers star not only has the edge in terms of wins 6-2 but has dominated in the majority of the stats.

Nikola Jokic has averaged 22 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block. Meanwhile, The Process had managed to dominate with 28 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks. However, Gilbert Arenas has advised fans not to fall for these numbers.

“So he’s (Embiid) dominating him (Jokic) and that’s what I said. It’s the argument is going to always be for Embiid fans; just you know they going to throw away stats and just be like ‘eye-test’.”

Another stat that was discussed on the show relied heavily in favor of the Joker, which also proves Arenas’ points. Since winning MVP 2023, Embiid has only played a total of 52 regular season games while dealing with various injuries.

Meanwhile, Nikola Jokic has 44 triple-doubles in that same time frame! In the game against the 76ers, Jokic logged four straight triple-doubles. Plus, in all four, he did not play in the fourth quarter, an NBA record tied with James Harden and teammate Russel Westbrook.

Some reports suggest that the Ball Arena was in unison chanting, “Where’s Embiid at?” But Nikola Jokic doesn’t agree with Embiid ducking the matchup theory. “I really don’t care who is on the other side. I just want to win. So it’s not something that I’m thinking about. I think that people are making it a bigger story than it is,” via The Denver Post.
