Gilbert Arenas might just be the proudest dad in basketball right now. With his son Alijah turning heads as a five-star prodigy and daughter Izela carving her promising path, it seems the Arenas legacy is thriving. But wait—there’s more. Enter Hamiley Arenas, Gilbert’s lesser-known daughter also has been making waves of her own quietly. Just last week, she had everyone talking with a fiery debut, and now, her jaw-dropping 22-point display has the hoops community buzzing again.

On Monday, Hamiley stepped into the spotlight during a neutral tournament game between Notre Dame and the Venice Gondoliers. While the Gondoliers suffered a crushing 78–20 defeat, it was Hamiley’s performance that stole the show. The ninth-grader lit up the court with 22 points and dominated the boards with 17 rebounds. If that wasn’t enough to make her dad beam with pride, her soon-to-be stepmom, Melli Monaco, was also courtside, cheering her on.

Monaco couldn’t help but share her excitement on Instagram. She posted a clip of Hamiley in action, captioning it, “My boo @hamileyarenas0 22 points 17 rebounds 🤯.” And this isn’t her first time hyping up the young star. Previously, Monaco proudly shared a highlight reel of Hamiley dominating the court, adding, “My boo EATIN.”
