Gilbert Arenas’ Daughter Chooses $10,000, Rejecting Dinner With Father in a Hilarious Exchange

Gilbert Arenas has stayed relevant even though it’s been over a decade since his retirement from basketball. He has recently found more ways to reach his fans through his podcast, Gil’s Arena. But if that was not enough to hear from Agent 0, the Washington Wizards legend is now asking his fans a unique question on his social media, and he wants to know what people would choose.

When given the choice to pick between a dinner with Gilbert Arenas, and money, his eldest daughter, Izela Arenas did not take long before betraying her father, as she had heard enough from him already.

Izela wants no part of Gilbert Arenas

Recently, Gilbert Arenas shared an image on Instagram to see what his followers would decide. It was an image that was supposed to look like Arenas, generated by AI, with a caption that asked if you would rather have dinner with Gilbert Arenas, or $10,000 in cash.

Although most people were more worried about how the person in the image looked, Gilbert Arenas’ daughter did not have a tough time making her decision. Izela Arenas commented, “give me that shmoneyyyy“

Gilbert Arenas commented with some laughing emojis and then said, “@izelaaarenas no dinner with me huh BET…lets see who does the wave when u score next game 🤨😂”

Her dad is her biggest supporter. He can always be seen cheering Izela on from the courtside in most of her games. This made her laugh as well, and then she brought in her younger sister, Hamiley Arenas, into the conversation. Izela tagged Hamiley and commented, “I lose brain cells talking to him“. It looks like the whole Arenas family had a good laugh with this exchange.

Izela Arenas is showing her potential

Gilbert Arenas was one of the best players of his time, and injuries derailed his career. Now his daughter, Izela, is making waves in the basketball community as she has shown that she has the same potential as her father. Earlier this year, Izela was dominant during her Nike Nationals run. She was scoring relentlessly, just like her father.
