The official Instagram handle of Slam High School shared the news that Bryce James and Kiyan Anthony just teamed up in Vegas.

Bryce, son of 19x NBA All-Star LeBron James, has been playing for Team ?Strive for Greatness? for quite some time now. The 16-year-old shooting guard was recently joined by the son of former Knicks player Carmelo Anthony, in a match against the Phenom United. The match was held as part of the ongoing Nike Tournament.

The duo was successful in helping defeat their opponents by a score of 74-68.

The pairing up of these two high school players spread excitement across the NBA world. Soon, the news reached the radar of Lakers legend Shaquille O?Neal as well, evident from his children’s reaction.

Shaq?s youngest daughter Me’arah O’Neal, who recently made headlines for snubbing her father, shared the Slam High School Post on her Instagram story. The same action was repeated by Shareef O?Neal, Shaq?s eldest son.

Shareef holds the position of a power forward as a player in the NBA’s G League. Me?arah boasts an amazing high school career thus far. In the coming days, she will have to make an important decision about whether she wants to further follow in her father?s footsteps and join the LSU Tigers.

Whether or not she joins ESPY award winner, Angel Reese, fans are already excited about seeing Melo and Bron’s sons in action together.

The Shaquille O?Neal family wasn’t the only one.

Melo and LeBron were the top prospects in the fabled 2003 NBA draft. 20 years later, fans felt the excitement after witnessing their sons join forces on the hardwood. Instagram users took up to the comments section of the SHS post to share their reactions.

One user felt a unique sensation upon seeing the two players, especially Kiyan Anthony, dominating on the basketball court. He wrote, ?that last jab from kiyan gave me goosebumps ain’t no way he play just like his pops.?
