Gabrielle Union's fart posts—Is this the secret to a strong marriage or just too much info?

Another celebration at the Wade house? The basketball legend Dwyane Wade and his wife just had the right reason and moment to renew their vows. In the presence of their friends and family, the two celebrated the special milestone of 10 years in marriage. While the Bring It On actress had the most endearing message for her husband during their anniversary, she had an equally humorous way of explaining what these 10 years with her loved one were like.

“We’re not posting farts,” Union joked about not having shared more about the real moments and bonding with her husband. “And we should because that’s what so much of married life is,” Union concluded.

It’s not always the serious conversations or the almost perfect trendy moments on social media, but mostly, the “farts, movies and debating the ending of Presumed Innocent,” when it comes to explaining marriages as Union noted.

But it wasn’t all butterflies and rainbows for the two. Met in 2007, both Wade and Gabrielle were just getting through their divorces. The former’s was a bit messier but the ‘She’s All That’ star stuck through, to even grow to love Wade’s kids and they, her. They would face some rough patches in the years to come, but the two wanted to make it work. So around late 2013, the Miami Heat star gathered his kids to ask Gabrielle, “Will you marry us?” and you know the answer.

They have grown since then, alongside their family, but are constantly working on them and their relationship. During her appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival, the actress shared a bit on that. “I’m always working on myself. The more I work on myself, the better our relationship is—and the same with him,” Union told E! News

While still unaware of everything about marriage, the two are thriving and this is what strengthens the bond between the two. Wade too must have had a similar thought during their grand 10th anniversary celebration.

There were tough moments as well as happy ones, but regardless of the situation, his wife, Union, stood by him through it all. He expressed his gratitude for her unwavering belief in him. “Year nine was hard for us… Thank you for being there to show me all of the things I forget along the way,” Wade said.

For the special day, the actress wore a shimmering pink sequined dress, while the Miami Heat legend was decked up in all-white. The two even had their youngest, Kaavia, as the adorable flower girl. Dressed in all yellow, a teary-eyed Kaavia grew emotional and clung to her mother. The actress later serenaded her husband with Shania Twain’s popular ballad, ‘You’re Still The One.’

Many more snaps and moments from the celebration were shared on Union’s Instagram carousel post. Both Union and Wade’s family members, including Wade’s father, were present at the event.
