Dwyane Wade's farting habits—just another reason to love him or too much information?

Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union have had their ups and downs through the decade-long marriage and they haven’t been secretive of it. The Miami Heat star has thanked his wife often for holding them together to stir them in a more comfortable setting. “Thank you for being there to show me all of the things I forget along the way,” Wade had said. We see the dynamic now, even if just a glimpse, as the Bring It On actress confirms they are going strong with a little hilarity and a little science.

Days after their 10th wedding anniversary, Gabrielle Union took to her Instagram story to post a fact that no one could have anticipated. “@dwyanewade we good, read the caption of the story. But what was it about? Union had reshared a post that read, “Farting in front of partner can be a positive sign of health and relationship strength, according to science.”

If you are wondering about the science behind it, there are a few theories.

According to Jamie Hergenrader of Women’s Health, it is worthwhile for couples to let one loose every now and again. “If you’re building a relationship, it can actually strengthen your bond,” said Jamie as per HuffPost. The fact couldn’t have arrived at a better time for the couple.

On 30th August, celebrating their 10th anniversary, Wade admitted year 9 had been a hard one for them and thanked Union in the aforementioned remark. The actress, on the other hand, was in to lighten the mood. “We’re not posting farts…and we should because that’s what so much of married life is: farts, movies, and debating the ending of Presumed Innocent,” she said.

However, this wasn’t the case a few years back.

The two met each other back in 2007. But it wasn’t until later in 2013 that Wade would ask his children to gather around and hold plaques that would read, “Will you marry us?” The kids had grown on the actress by then, so it was easy yes for her. They would face their hurdles in the years to come but love would be enough to surpass them all.

“Through sickness and health, crisis and celebrations, through bad golf days and flubbed lines and new adventures—We stand united and we thrive. 10 toes down, 10 years in, forever to go,” they wrote in a collaborative post on their wedding anniversary. The celebrations had started weeks prior as they savored the French Rivera right after Wade’s stint as an announcer at the Olympics.

The two are now parents to Kaavia, and Union, a stepmom to Zaire, Zaya, and Xavier, though she loves them no less. “I never wanted kids. Then I became a stepmom, and there was no place I’d rather be than with them,” she said to People. And through her unending support for each, Zaya, more prominently of late, Union has only lived her words.
