Beyond NFL fans, the annual Super Bowl LIX event is a platform for the whole of America to drop what they do and join the party! Even celebrity fans can hardly keep their calm; oh, it is much like us. Megan Thee Stallion, Martha Stewart, etc, you name, and they have joined in for the celebration. And yes, everyone was still gushing over Serena Williams joining Kendrick Lamar on stage for his Halftime performance. While Dwyane Wade seemingly couldn’t join in, his wife, Gabrielle Union, was present to celebrate on her husband’s behalf as well.
Gabrielle Union knows how to party. And that meant a double celebration. The ‘Being Mary Jane’ actress shared a carousel IG post showcasing the best moments from the Super Bowl LIX splash, and guess who sat next to her? Saweetie and Cynthia Erivo were in attendance with the American actress. In a colorful off-neck top and baggy jeans to pair with it, the actress captioned, “built different. move different. win different. ✨”
Union was all about serving looks! came fully prepared for the night, the actress wearing a high-cut white bodysuit paired with a lovely baggy set of jeans. Her husband, DWade, was quick to react in her post. A truly adorable couple, the 43-year-old former basketball player, commented, “❤️” in her IG post. She was surely carrying a part of him in one of the biggest events of American sport. The cherry on top, the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl. After the win, Union thanked QB Jalen Hurts for uplifting her mood, in her IG Story!

Union shared several more snaps and selfies of her having a blast alongside her friends. Including the tennis star Serena Williams. The highlight of Union’s post was the fifth slide, where Williams nailed her epic crip walk to Lamar’s diss track, Not Like Us. Reports of Williams being Drake’s ex fueled the fire. But wait, why did Wade miss out on the fun?
Dwyane Wade gave it a miss, but where was he?
The Miami Heat couldn’t join his wife, probably because he spent it with his friends at home. He shared a clip on his IG story, which was shot by the young daughter, Kaavia James Udonis Haslem, and many others sat quietly in the clip, focused on the screen ahead. Reason? Oh, it is the Super Bowl! Of course, the background seemed to be from the Super Bowl.

“Sights and sounds from SuperBowl🎥 by Kaavia” Wade captioned his IG story. It could be that he and his friends are watching the game from home. Wade also tagged Chris Johnson, Richard Ingraham and his daughter Zaya had joined.
There might be another reason behind it as well. The former Heat player shared several snaps from the shoots of his podcast. Given his busy schedule, it could be that the Heat legend was occupied with the shoot of the podcast and had to sit out on this one. While the reason behind his absence remains uncertain, the player-turned-host has surely enjoyed the Super Bowl watching it with his friends. After all, who can miss the epic battle between the Eagles and Chiefs, more so when Jalen Hurts is playing!
