Smith, known not just for his intriguing takes on everything basketball but also his entertaining way of presenting. Recently Stephen A. Smith was in the news for his heavy criticism for a caller on his show. Smith has time and again made it clear that he thinks Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time. He can often be seen getting into heated debate on his show First Take with his fellow panelist making a case for the six-time champion.

Smith went down hard on a caller who was opening up to Smith on his relationship troubles that involved the ten-time scoring champion.

Stephen A Smith shows no mercy to a caller

Stephen A Smith often appears on his YouTube show, The Stephen A Smith Show. He was seen getting into it with a caller on his show. The caller was describing his peculiar relationship problem with Stephen A Smith.

According to the guy his partner is of the opinion that Michael Jordan’s the greatest basketball player ever. Although it was not clear who’s the greatest according to the guy, he clearly disagrees with his girlfriend.

Stephen A Smith replied, “So Noah calls, and he’s got a problem because he thinks his woman believes – this woman he’s feeling… His problem with her is that Michael Jordan is the goat. Well, first of all, he is the Goat. And when it comes to goats, there is only one excuse, a woman in your life that you’ve loved, that you’ve invested in, that you’ve given herself to, should have as an excuse for labeling somebody other than Michael Jordan the goat. And that if she looks at you and she says, baby you the goat.” 

The 55-year-old is still adamant on his take on MJ being better than everyone else in the NBA history.

Interestingly, he was also recently in the news for bashing a certain Los Angeles sports team.

Stephen A Smith bashes the Los Angeles Angels

Stephen A Smith was seen lashing out on the baseball team the Los Angeles Angels.

He said, “The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, no one cares about you. No one, I don’t even know, I’ve been in LA quite often, I never hear anybody talking about the Angels. We love driving by the stadium, it looks really nice. No one cares, you’re irrelevant, period!”

He made it clear that the Angels are nowhere near winning the baseball title and the team is no longer significant enough.
