After Chavis aired her feelings and thoughts, it was now time for Smith to provide his side of the story. The NBA veteran recently opened up about the difficulties of having to digest this truth.

It’s been four days since the video of Joe Smith finding out about his wife’s OnlyFans account has been on the internet. Ever since the clip has gone viral, Joe Smith has been a major point of discussion in the hoop community. While there are some who empathize with the NBA veteran, several people are calling it a marketing ploy. However, going by the unfolding events, it appears to differ from the perceived notion. Recently, the 48-year-old appeared on The Morning Hustle podcast to talk about everything that has happened in the last few days.

The NBA veteran said that he considers himself a very private person. He admits that he wasn’t aware of the fact that the conversation between him and Chavis was being recorded. So when he eventually figured out it was all on tape, he claims, “That’s why I kind of erupted.” Regardless of the element of truth in their story, this incident has done a lot of damage to Smith’s reputation as he is now being talked about only because of this.

Besides that, what hurt him even more was the fact that he was so late in finding out about this truth. Smith said being “one of the last” people to find out about it was like adding insult to injury for him.
