Ever the aficionado for analytics and numbers, JJ Redick brought his wizardry to the comments section of an Emmy-winning director. When Jason Gallagher expressed admiration for Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks, Redick playfully ripped into the head of production of Redick’s ‘Old Man and the Three‘ Podcast.
Redick sarcastically wrote, “His box score stats are overrated though.” One fan seemed to fail to understand the sarcasm though, as he replied, “actually? haven’t watched the game just had work but 36-15-17 is crazy.” Redick then had to clarify why he said it. He wrote, “No it was a joke based on a stupid twitter take this week.”
