Bearing the burden of expectations is not something many would want to do, as it can make or break your career in an instant. While many shy away from the topic of being the best, the same cannot be said about Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal. Shaq has been the leading man across multiple franchises, making him quite the palpable icon. While the debate of who’s the greatest will continue till the end of time, Shaq recently shared his thoughts on the argument alongside a rapper and former teammate, who once embarrassed the 4x NBA champion.

Ever since his debut with the Orlando Magic, O’Neal showcased his talent regularly, putting him up there with the greatest players of all time.

In a recent post made by Shaq on his Instagram, fans were asked an age-old question of who’s the greatest center of all time. Posting an image featuring Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, and himself, the 15x All-Star asked his followers to ‘Start-Bench-Drop’ one of the three legends.

Unsurprisingly, Shaq backed himself to start, benching Kareem while dropping 2x NBA champion Wilt Chamberlain. This analogy was further shared by rap star G-Eazy and a former teammate of Shaq, Nate Robinson. Replying to the post made by Shaq, Oakland rapper Gerald Earl Gillum aka G-Eazy weighed in on the argument as he stated, “Right order“. Showing his love for the big man while ditching hometown hero Wilt Chamberlain.

In addition to G-Eazy’s comments about Shaq, 5’9 Nate Robinson shared a similar sentiment, as he tried to win over the big man stating, “Start Shaq?that?s all I know“.

Whether it be on the set of ‘Uncle Drew’ as Big Fella and Boots or during the time when the two shared a locker room for the Boston Celtics, Shaquille O’Neal and Nate Robinson have always had great chemistry. A three-time Dunk contest champion, Robinson loved dwarfing the 7-foot giant, often seen dunking over him in practice.

Making it a mission to annoy Shaq during their stint with the Celtics, Robinson was always coming up with pranks to vex the center. During one such prank, Robinson faced Shaq’s violence, as the big man beat the 5’9 guard using his 23-size shoe. Of course, a joke in itself, the beatdown happened after Robinson stole the legend’s shoe and was seen wearing it around during practice.
