He thought about it for some time, as he had played in the NBA for so long. Smith talked about his second year in the league playing for the Golden State Warriors. They had to face the Chicago Bulls, who had just won the championship. Smith revealed that he and Dennis Rodman were guarding each other the whole game.

He has always heard of the various antics that Rodman would pull on the court, but it did not affect Smith’s game, as he dropped 23 points and 20 rebounds. This stat is wrong, as he scored 19 points and 16 points in their two games and never had over 11 rebounds in both games, which led to losses. But the thing that annoyed Smith was something else.

Smith said, “Every time we going out the court he smacking me on the butt. Yo I’m like yo I’m not on your team. Why you keep smacking on my butt? What is wrong with you?“

Since Joe Smith was just in his second year in the NBA, he did not say anything back then and let it go. But it was the most annoying thing that he had ever experienced during his time in the league.

After confronting his wife, Joe Smith left their house as she was not ready to apologize, and since then he has not spoken to her.
