Despite a few conflicts, we know Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant ended up having a great bond of respect. But greater was their dominance on the court, even when things were not smooth sailing between the two. The solid testament to which came from their 3-peat. No wonder Shaq’s go-to car dealership preferred a moment from this phase to pay tribute to one of their most loyal customers.
Effortless Motors shared a reel of the mural they got done by @saucey_pasta at what seems to be the workshop of the car dealership. “New mural done over at @effortless_motors for their show room. My clients reached out for a Kobe and Shaq when they won their first title together In 2000. This was the only picture on the internet from the Washington times,” read the caption to the post.
The photo in discussion is one where Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal are sitting with the Larry O’Brien and NBA Final MVP trophies in their hands, respectively. The 2000 championship win was the first one for both Black Mamba and Big Diesel. The 4-2 win against the Indiana Pacers in the Finals series laid the foundation for the last 3-peat that the NBA witnessed.

While the Black Mamba contributed an impressive 15.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists in the Finals series, Shaq came out as a different kind of beast. He averaged 38 points, 16.7 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game against the Pacers. No wonder he claimed the NBA Finals Series MVP to his name.

You can find the original photo of the mural in one of the articles from LA Times titled, “Eleven years after messy breakup with Lakers, Kobe and Shaq make up on podcast.” The tribute couldn’t get any better from the Effortless Motors. No wonder Shaq places immense trust in the car dealership.

Shaquille O’Neal’s 5 cars from Effortless Motors
If you’ve been keeping an eye on his automotive adventures, you probably know by now that Effortless Motors is his go-to dealership. The most recent addition to Shaq’s collection was a customized Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van.
In an Instagram video, the dealership’s associate proudly announced, “Another one, man. First class made back edition Mercedes Benz Sprinter just for Shaq.” And trust us, it’s nothing short of spectacular. With plush interiors and top-notch features, it’s no surprise Big Diesel looked thrilled.

But during this latest visit from effortless motors, O’Neal didn’t just stop at the Sprinter van. He also bought the customized Mercedes-Benz S550 that the dealership associate arrived in. He even took a moment to thank LeBron James for introducing him to Effortless Motors. Yep, it was after an incident between Bron and the dealership that Shaquille O’Neal first heard of the company. And brought back to back 2 Cybertrucks.
But here’s where things get even more interesting. Shaq and Effortless Motors aren’t just doing business—they’re exchanging gifts. O’Neal once handed over a Dodge Charger Hellcat to the dealership, and they returned the favor with first-ever 1/100 Waido wide body, Cyberbeast.
