The previous few hours have been one of the most memorable for four former NBA players. The moment they had been waiting for finally arrived. By getting inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, these athletes have been rewarded with an honor for the many years they dominated the basketball court. Amongst them is Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade.

As another chapter is being written in her father’s book, Dwyane Wade’s 4-year-old daughter provides an update via social media.

The official Instagram handle of Kaavia James Union Wade recently highlighted a new post. It features the young Wade donning a white dress. The ends of her hair were covered with pink and transparent accessories.

Kaavia was striking a pose alongside Chantel Cohen, who is a friend of Dwyane Wade and his wife, American actress Gabrielle Union. Exuding a different level of class and aiming to overshadow her father’s event, Kaavia asked a question in the caption:

“Are we sure the induction isn’t about me?”

The post has received over 22,000 likes, with many people taking to the comments section to share their thoughts on the young Wade.

Dwyane Wade is inducted into the Hall of Fame after a 16-year career in the NBA, during which he led the Heat to three championship wins and earned numerous accolades. The 2006 NBA Finals MVP is the father to five children. While 2 of them are from his previous marriage, the others are with Union. Kaavia is the youngest.

Fans of the celebrity couple have always taken to social media to find any cute moments that the family shares with them and with each other. It was only a few days ago when both the parents took to social media to share a compilation of Kaavia’s best moments during her latest dance recital.

Wade and Union recently got candid about raising Kaavia during an interview with Parents Magazine. When asked about the “most important thing” that they wish to teach the growing child, Union wished that she would develop “compassion for herself.”

Wade, on the other hand, exclaimed that when the time comes for Kaavia to “choose a man,” he should be someone who could measure up to the same level as the three-time NBA champion!
