Somebody should’ve taken the button from Chuck. Now he’s gone and done that thing he shouldn’t be allowed to. Let’s be clear, Charles Barkley wants the 76ers to win. He had very little faith in a Sixers series before Game 5. Then they won and he was chest-thumping gorilla ready to take on the Knicks and their fandom. That overzealous excitement has carried forward to Game 6 in the Sixers turf. Barkley hit the button, got a questionable shower, and called it for the 76ers.
He did something unimaginable with this guarantee – brought the Sixers and Knicks nation together in harmony. Against him.
Chuck Guarantee gets the seagull treatment

Ahead of Game 6 between the 76ers and Knicks, the Inside Guys called their predictions. Shaq Guarantee doesn’t quite have that ring to it but Shaquille O’Neal tried with a non-existent button. He slammed the table and declared a blowout loss for the Sixers. How big? 19-20.
While that hardly counts as a blowout, the OG showed how it’s done. Charles Barkley slammed the button and called a guarantee – this game is for the Sixers. He rightfully got pooped on.
A special seagull surprise after Chuck's latest guarantee 🤣 pic.twitter.com/zz3mOozlEM

The seagulls returned to shower Chuck with some friendly vibes. His only concern was to save his Diet Coke. The TNT crew were in splits over the seagulls and forgot about the most important part.
Everyone dreads the Chuck Guarantee curse will strike. It’s hard to tell how it will go. The 76ers had a minor lead at halftime and both teams were tied at 83 by the third quarter. A Chuck Guarantee also guarantees a nailbiter before the conclusion.
Barkley tends to doom his faves with that cursed button. By pressing the button, 76ers fans are mourning and the Knicks fans are celebrating their premature win. They are united in the regard that it’s all because of Chuck.
Charles Barkley causes world peace
Chuck would be still bitter about the Knicks sweeping him and his Sixers squad in 1989. He’s rooting for a Sixers win but he could’ve done that without the button. All the Philly locals with plans to go to the Wells Fargo arena and the New Yorkers who drove down there think it was a waste of time now that they know the outcome of the game.
Word? Fuck you Charles! @_CharlesBarkley I got plans on Saturday! #LetsGoKnicks #BingBong #NBAonTNT

Chuck is genuinely a respected legend in 76ers history. But when he made his support for the team formal on Inside the NBA, fans wished he loved the team a little less.
We're doomed.
Charles Barkley guaranteed a Sixers W tonight.

Predictably, the 76ers fans are coping with humor. The memes that the Chuck Guarantee brings out do not disappoint.
Charles Barkley just jinxed the 76ers 🙏🏻 pic.twitter.com/RJjJQQAF0s

Barkley has made an enemy of New Yorkers too. Twice in this series, he’s yelled at Knicks fans for making the two-hour drive to invade his turf in Philadelphia. Knicks fans don’t love him very much either. But since he’s cursed the opponents, they like him now.
charles barkley has no idea what he’s talking about. knicks fans no worries let’s lock in we’re fine

Barkley’s guarantee comes from his love for the Sixers and disdain for the Knicks. So Knicks fans will take sinister pleasure in the curse coming true.
Charles Barkley saying this game is a wrap for the Sixers. Prove him wrong & make him go viral. Thats it, that’s what he wants at the end of the day. Ok then #NewYorkForever

I need Charles Barkley to shut that shit up for right now.

Before the game concluded, 76ers fans had only one thing to say to Chuck – please don’t do that again. Some phrased it not so nicely.

Does the Chuck Guarantee strike? It remained neck and neck between both teams through the fourth quarter till the game ended 118-115 for the Knicks, eliminating the Sixers from the playoffs.
