Kendrick Perkins loves DC Comics and has always been obsessed with Superman and Batman. “The first Superman thing, yeah, the original Superman,” Perkins enthusiastically announced when asked about his favorite Halloween costume. This year, the ESPN analyst had another chance to don a superhero cape and costume to celebrate his love for DC heroes while also kicking off Halloween in a fun style. However, fans questioned whether he might have made a costume mistake.
For Halloween this year, Perkins chose to dress up as Batman, sporting the pitch-black suit and masked face. He even carried that mysterious Batman vibe around him. But that changed quite quickly when the basketball legend’s entire look was revealed to the fans. They quickly began to roast his look. Many felt the Batsuit was a bit too snug for the towering 6’10” NBA legend.
Perkins’ stylist should have chosen an even larger suit for him. The basketball legend’s colleagues also showed up in creative costumes for the Halloween special episode. 2x WNBA All-Star Chiney Ogwumike dressed as Marvel Comics’ Storm, also opting for a black suit. Her costume must have been a nod to the Seattle Storm as she commented the same in the comments section.

Some netizens thought he looked quite good, but with the tight Bat-suit on, he appeared even larger. And while he boasted about his abs, fans had a different opinion and called him out. Instead of Batman, this one called Perkins as “Snack-Man!
One even went on to compare the basketball legend to American rapper Kanye West who is also known for his obsession with Batman. He even has a Yemobile. “Perk looks like he is Kanye West wearing a normal outfit,” a fan wrote.
However, some fans hilariously roasted the Perk’s costume. Perkin’s fake abs made him quite strong with his towering figure and height. So, this one thought that Perkins should have dressed as a Batmobile vehicle instead of the man who drives it. “Perk look more like the Batmobile,” the comment read.
