But, what happens when the difference is so astounding, and the result so hilarious, that it leaves everyone shocked? That is the scenario a particular Michael Jordan-Lite shoe found itself in.

The picture made its way online thanks to a post by user @_theladymo. Rather than the usual AIR Jordan logo, the sneaker features a rather peculiar design on the tongue. Instead of Dunkman, a squatting person is the centerpiece of the sneaker.

The popularity of the Jordan brand remains exceptionally high. While this particular design was easy to spot, there tend to be minor differences not visible to everyone without proper knowledge of the design’s intricacies.

With the team continuing to develop and drop new pieces seemingly every week, fans could do to being careful when going for their festive shopping. But, until then, this particular variation was always going to lead to some hilarious reactions.

Another user wrote, “Who did Jordan dirty? Am officially dead,” while one fan decided to call it a female MJ, commenting, “Michelle Jordan.”

The original Dunkman logo has been iconic for Michael recreating it during his iconic Dunk Contest victory. However, this particular logo looks more like a dancing woman than a generational athlete. Fittingly, the replies were ready to call it out. “When Michael Jordan start Ballet?😭”

But, there was one reaction that was common for all fans. The sheer shock factor of the design had everyone wondering about their origin. “The fact that these things are real is crazyyyy”
