Known as Magic Johnson, Earvin Johnson Jr. grew up playing hoops as the son of an autoworker. In high school, his unique and exciting way of handling the ball got him the nickname “Magic.” The Los Angeles Lakers were the first team to pick this giant of a basketball player, and he has won many awards since then, showing that he is one of the greatest players of all time.

Meanwhile, American actor and comedian, Faizon Love over the YouTube show DJVLAD, made a statement when he met Magic Johnson. It was Johnson’s birthday party. 

Faizon Love said, “I was like I I don’t you know this. Just take you know even though I was acting. People knew me I’m like I’m not going to that. I remember um Magic Johnson has his birthday party.”

Faizon Love continued that he talked with whom he met and was stunned to discover people admired his work as well. 

“And uh Robert Town said man you should come. Matthew Johnson and I get there this Magic Johnson Denzel was all these people I had met Denzel I had met Paulo and I’m sitting there and they come to me like we really love your working life. My head up, like they knew who I was.” 

Faizon considered himself as an outsider but when he got there, he realized these people knew him for his work.

With a few others, Johnson bought the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2012.

When the Los Angeles Lakers brought him back in 2017, he became a consultant for owner Jeanie Buss. Prior to his promotion to president, Johnson was president of basketball operations for a brief period of time. At that time, he supervised the front office for the Lakers.

His unexpected departure at the conclusion of the 2018–19 season was unexpected. He expressed a preference for becoming a representative of the sport instead of being in charge for just a few months. As of 2002, he was a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. A list of the 50 all-time best NBA players included him in 1996.
