By now we all know the future of ‘Inside the NBA’ might not be bright after the next season ends. The majority of the former players have echoed fans’ sentiment to keep the Emmy award-winning show continuing. Shaq, Charles Barkley, and the ‘Inside the NBA’ crew might have to do something extraordinary to avoid the loss. We, at EssentiallySports, have exclusive comment from former 3x NBA Champion, who hesitantly agreed with Stephen A Smith’s assessment of the situation.

On our Instagram page slamndunkarmy, we uploaded a clip of Smith presenting his view on the situation. And the former Los Angeles Lakers player gave his thoughts on the entire messy relationship between Turner and Inside Crew.

I don’t know everything in life but I know television and I know that I don’t give a damn what network you are. If you have an opportunity to have Charles Barkley Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith together, you do not break that up. I don’t give a sh*t what anybody says,” said Smith. We, at EssentiallySports, also had an exclusive chat with Shaq’s ex-agent, Leonard Armato about the situation.

Smith said it’s necessary to bring the 3 of them together at any cost. He further explained why he excluded Ernie Johnson. According to many reports, Johnson wouldn’t leave TNT to join any other network.”So I am in no way suggesting that it should just be those three and not Ernie. I’m just saying what everybody is saying and they can never see Ernie leaving, he’ll probably retire.” Seeing this Byron Scott agreed to the entire situation and left a comment. “I don’t agree with a lot of things that Stephen A says but I do agree with him on this.”

Scott had a career with the Lakers not only as a player but also as a coach. During his last season as a player, he played alongside O’Neal and Kobe Bryant among others. And later would even coach Bryant during Black Mamba’s last season. But, if things go south, what does Charles Barkley have in mind?

Charles Barkley taking matters into his own hands!

‘Sir Charles’ is a man of people and has decided enough is enough. When Dan Patrick asked him about the future, he discussed the possibility of hiring the crew to his own production company, continuing to do the show, and selling it. With TNT on the brink of losing the NBA, Charles Barkley just ripped the executives at Turner and even called them fools.

Later Sir Charles even floated the idea of hiring Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson to his production company. While suggesting he might sell the rights to ‘Inside the NBA’ to another network and even possibly Amazon.

The comments from former coach and player Byron Scott show that the ‘Inside the NBA’ crew is not just loved by casual fans. The show offers something for everyone. And will have to wait and watch if Charles Barkley is able to take the production of this show under his own wings.
