NBA on TNT posted on X, “Nobody’s safe from @JCrossover😂 He’s back at the desk tonight with @AdamLefkoe, @Candace_Parker and @SHAQ!”. Crawford has previously been part of the show and has also made several appearances on other shows. He has also filled in for Charles Barkley on the iconic TNT show when he could not make himself available. Crawford really enjoyed the experience as an analyst while filling in for someone as relevant and established as Sir Charles.

He said, “I thought popping in for Chuck [Charles Barkley] was really cool. When I did that, I had so much fun. I thought, ‘I can do this.’ Then they hired me full time and now I’m bit by the bug. I want to be better at this than at basketball. I want to be really good at it. I have a lot of work to do, but I’m enjoying it.” There can be more of Crawford on the show and there are several possibilities that can potentially lead to him having a permanent role on the show. When asked about whether he’ll be interested in taking over Kenny Smith’s job once he retires, he said that he’s still learning the trade.
