As JJ Redick has transitioned to a life of broadcasting after he retired from basketball, he decided to celebrate Christmas early with his family, as he would have to cover the Christmas Day Games later this month.
Kai Redick picked out his Christmas gift, and it was a basketball jersey. But surprisingly, it was not his dad’s but rather Jayson Tatum’s Zero ‘0’ jersey.
Redick recently posted a picture on his Instagram story of his son holding Jayson Tatum’s home jersey. Redick wrote on the image. “Of course, Tatum,” and added a crying emoji after it.

As Christmas Day games are one of the biggest attractions in the NBA, JJ Redick will be covering basketball games on December 25th.

JJ Redick’s sons have inherited his talent
Kai Redick is Redick’s youngest son. He has another son named Knox, who is 2 years older than Kai. Earlier this year, Knox and New York Knicks player Josh Hart had a three-point shooting contest.

Although people were expecting Josh Hart to breeze through the contest, Knox made jaws drop by scoring one more basket than him. It is apparent that JJ Redick, who is one of the best shooters in NBA history, has worked with his son, and he is now following in his dad’s footsteps.
