NBA legend Michael Jordan recently did not agree with the notion that he approved of his son Marcus Jordan dating Larsa Pippen. This came after Larsa’s claims that she had met Marcus’ parents and the couple had the approval of MJ. So the Chicago Bulls legend’s reaction came as a surprise to a lot of people. Despite this, Marcus and Larsa are still together and are spending quality time. Shockingly, Larsa was terrified by a hostage situation recently while she was out with Marcus.

Violence has been on the rise in the country in recent months. A recent mass shooting in Atlanta that killed four people took the tally to 31 mass killings this year. After the suspect was shot dead, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, who lives in Atlanta, shared the news.

Michael Jordan’s son Marcus and Larsa Pippen share the video clip

Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen initially fueled rumors of dating when they were first seen together at a restaurant in Miami. While they first denied the allegations, the couple then announced their relationship. Months later, Miami still apparently remains one of the fondest destinations of the two. However, things went south in public recently when they were together.

Larsa shared a video clip on her Instagram story where multiple police officials were seen urging the public to evacuate. In the previous story, she wrote that it was a hostage situation, and an officer-involved shooting took place.

Larsa noted, “Omg @heirmj523 and I were on Lincoln Road when an officer involved shooting happened! A man had 2 people held hostage at knifepoint. Cops responded and an officer shot the suspect. So thankful for the Miami Beach Police Department it was scary af everyone was running and screaming.”

In the clip Larsa shared, two officers were seen taking away another officer to the side, who looked stressed. Also, Marcus shared the posts on his stories as well.

The horrific hostage incident

The hostage incident happened in Lincoln Road, Miami Beach on Thursday. According to a report from WSVN, two people were held hostage, and one of them was a young woman.

The police arrived at the scene after a disturbance call regarding an armed male suspect. The officials reportedly evacuated several stores in the neighborhood while handling the situation.

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan could have been in one of these stores when the incident happened and therefore recorded it. Multiple witnesses stated that they heard gunfire. The two who were held hostage were reportedly unharmed. The case remains under investigation.
