Kenyon Martin and Raymond Felton played together for the Denver Nuggets during the 2010-2011 NBA season. Their coming together was part of the Nuggets’ efforts to improve their roster for a playoff push. While their time as teammates was relatively short, the two players contributed to the team’s success during the regular season and the playoffs. However, neither of them could manage to win an NBA championship during a long career. Now, Martin is a known face in the podcast community and is a co-host alongside Gilbert Arenas on his podcast.

Recently, the 45-year-old recalled being on the same plane with Felton when they were with the Nuggets. Martin said that his story might sound horrible to some people, but it’s a true story. He said “Raymond Felton was on the plane, and they were passing out cookies. The lady on the plane skipped over him.” Martin said that there might have been someone who instructed the attendant to not give cookies to Felton. Unaware of this ploy, the NBA veteran was fuming and initially took it as a sign of disrespect. “This man was livid”, he recalled Felton’s reaction to the disrespect.

Martin said that while he was witnessing this unfolding in front of him, he couldn’t help but just laugh at the situation.

In the same episode, Arenas revealed that there are so many trivial things that an NBA athlete can get mad about. Other panelists on the podcast recalled seeing players get furious because of not being given the desired parking spot or their favorite meals, for example. Arenas said that these situations are only products of their inflated egos that have always been catered to.
