DJ Diesel is collaborating with major bass music producers for his upcoming album GORILLA WARFARE. The album’s pre-save page hit Spotify today which revealed its tracklist and collaborators. Shaquille O’Neal‘s debut album is all set to be released on August 18th, 2023. Notably, Romany music culture inspired the song ROMANY ADVENTURES which is a collaboration between Shaq and Soltan.
Ahead of its release, Sotan shared a video clip about the history behind the Roma ethnic group on social media. The clip revealed some interesting information about the ethnic group while also removing some misconceptions.

The Big Aristotle re-shared the clip in his Instagram story with the caption, “The history behind our song together on the album”.
The clip claimed that Roma is an ethnic group that immigrated from northern India to the Persian empire and then settled in Europe over 5000 years ago. Furthermore, the footage stated the group has a rich cultural heritage and tradition and that many were experts in musical instruments.
Also, it claimed that Romany music and dance play a crucial role in many other countries. The video then noted that Roma’s culture is portrayed stereotypically as “gypsy”. However, many locals consider it a racial slur.
As per EDM.com, Shaq’s upcoming album has 10 songs and it will feature Kompany, Jessica Aduiffred, and Soltan, among other popular producers.

Shaquille O’Neal has not released a rap album in a long time. However, he is still a huge fan of hip-hop.
This year marks the celebration of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop is underway with Hip-Hop 50. The festivities started in Yankee Stadium with multiple major superstars in action. Notably, O’Neal seemed to be impressed with the performance of rapper Fat Joe as he shared the clip via Instagram stories.
In case you didn’t know already, Diesel was supposed to face off against Fat Joe’s basketball team 20 years ago! In fact, Jay-Z had landed Shaq on his team.
