NBA legend Michael Jordan is revered for his stunning track record of winning championships. Fans consider him to be one of the best players ever, if not the best. Recently an old video of MJ playing against Tyrone Curtis ‘Muggsy’ Bogues resurfaced on the Internet. The video has not only attracted fans’ immediate attention but has also filled the comments section with criticism from fans wishing to dismiss Jordan’s greatness.
The video of 5 ft 3 Muggsy taking the legend down has sparked another intense debate among the community. Of course, several supporters of LeBron James have flocked to express their opinion.

It’s a never-ending debate on whether Michael Jordan or LeBron James is the GOAT. In fact, the Los Angeles Lakers forward has mentioned that he was inspired by the six-time NBA champion. To pay homage to his idol, he even donned the number 23. However, fans have always drawn parallels between the two legends.
Both players had their unique impact on the game. The Hall of Famer had 6 rings in 6 appearances while the 19-times All-Star legend has a record of 4 out of 10 Finals wins. 9-times All-Defensive Player MJ leads over James’ 6-time record.
However, James holds the lead in All-Star selections with 19-11. Of course, he also recently overtook Kareem as the NBA’s all-time leader in points. LeBron holds the advantage of playing with talented players such as Dwyane Wade(future Hall of Famer), Chris Bosh, and Kyrie Irving.
Of course, legends like Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman were key to Jordan’s dominant run in the ’90s. But with so many accomplishments under each of their belts, it’s hard to objectively pick one.
That’s why, when an old MJ clip went viral again, fans instantly started the debate online.
Muggsy clamped Michael Jordan
Jordan and Muggsy were previously involved in a slight brawl. According to the rumors, MJ’s trash-talking ruined the NBA’s shortest player’s career. However, the rumors were never confirmed.
As soon as the video resurfaced, James’ supporters jumped into the comments section with their harsh criticism. This spurred a fresh debate on who the GOAT really is.

The comments were quite harsh. One of the Twitter users believes that Jordan was overrated, going as far as to call him a rotation piece.

Sympathizing with Muggsy, one of the users criticized Jordan for his play and off-court behavior.

Some users were even reminded of how popular basketball player JJ Barrea locked up James.
