Gabrielle Union is already an acclaimed actress whose claim to fame was tumbling across the mat in the cheerleader movie franchise, Bring It On. Kaavia James Union Wade’s parents couldn’t be prouder as they show off her talent. On August 12, D-Wade will join others in the 2023 class inducted into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame. Before that, he’s enjoying some family time.

Dwyane and Gabrielle’s youngest child, Kaavia, can act, sing, and even leave her mom tongue-tied with her sass. She’s already a bonafide Instagram phenom. Now her parents’ recent Instagram post shows she’s on her way to becoming a dancing superstar.

The Wade Family comes together for Kaavia

Dwyane Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union hit their combined Instagram followers with fuzzy feels after their recent Instagram post. This little video compiled the best moments from their four-year-old daughter, Kaavia’s dance recital. Kaavia can already sing. And dare we say, she can act better than her mom. Now she’s proving she’s a triple threat adding dance to her resume.

The video on D-Wade, Union, and their daughter’s Instagram pages was coolly divided into three parts of absolute cuteness.

The “before moments” showed Kaavia getting ready for her performance with Union. The Perfect Find star was hyping her daughter before Kaavia was warming up on stage.

They showed glimpses of the actual performance, first in Kaavia’s ballerina outfit and cat ears. She had another performance after an outfit change. She even spotted her family in the audience and gave them a wave. The video was captioned, “Every black girl deserves her flowers.”

In the “after” shots, Kaavia and her fellow performers were congratulated with flowers as they should. She got a lot of cute pictures with her parents and friends too. The clip ended with the hard-working performer getting the Miami Heat legend to carry her.

Fans loved this glimpse into Kaavia’s life. Several of the couple’s famous friends like Octavia Spencer, Taraji P. Henson, and Chelsea Handler were showering Kaavia with love in the comments.

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union on raising a family

This heartwarming family moment comes shortly after the former NBA pro and the actress got candid about parenting in Parents magazine.

Union opened up about her traumatic past and how that shaped her as a parent. They revealed all the decisions they made as a family to protect, Zaya, Wade’s daughter who came out as trans in 2020.

The family will have another occasion to celebrate in a few days. Wade headlines the 2023 Hall of Fame class that also includes Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker, Gregg Popovich, Becky Hammon, Pau Gasol, and others.
