If there’s someone who isn’t intimidated by Bring It On’s Isis, it’s likely Kaavia. Dwyane Wade’s youngest daughter, who just turned six years old, is perhaps the biggest fan and toughest critic of her parents. The Shady Baby is known for silently judging her parents. But her sneaky, hilarious antics this time led to an adorable confrontation with her mother.
The Bring It On actress recently shared a clip on her Instagram handle. The video began with Union realizing her haircare essentials had been completely used up, and the adorable culprit was standing right behind her. When Union hilariously called out Kaavia with an expression full of sass, Kaavia won it by responding with a dramatic walk-away.
“That moment ‘my routine’ becomes ‘our routine’ p.s. get your simstyled experience curated by our very own @larryjarahsims at select @jcpenny locations 🤍” Union captioned it.

The products featured in the clip were most likely from Union’s hair care brand, Flawless, co-founded by Larry Sims. And looks like they already have their biggest fan. But lucky for Kaavia, she does not have to go lengths to get her hands on her favorites. And thanks to Gabrielle, soon, it won’t just be the hair care products.
The six-year-old also has first dibs on her mom’s stylish wardrobe, which features gowns from some of the best designers. Union has been saving some of her most iconic pieces, including the Michael Kors gown she wore to the 2024 Met Gala.

“I have a storage that’s just full of things that I’m like, oh, I want to be able to tell this story or how I felt wearing this. So it started with me putting in this beautiful display case my first Met Ball outfit,” Union said. And let’s not forget that Kaavia also has a special claim since she was the first “guinea pig” for one of her brands.
Gabrielle Union recalls using daughter as guinea pig for Proudly
It started with the Miami Heat legend Wade and his wife’s collaboration on Proudly. After struggling to find suitable products for their youngest child, who required specialized skincare, the couple decided to create their own line. Wade and Union soon realized that they weren’t the only parents facing this challenge. Working closely with dermatologists, they launched their brand, Proudly.

While speaking to Daily Mail, the actress shared insights about the initial struggles of developing the right products. With no other options, she had to test some products on her daughter to ensure they worked well and appealed to her. “Testing out the sprays, like the lavender room spray, she was like ‘Oh, this is nice,” Union recalled.
The couple faced significant challenges in finding the right skincare for their daughter, which ultimately inspired and motivated them to create Proudly. “Trying to find products was like searching for a needle in a haystack…we were kind of cobbling together obscure products that were very hard to find,” Union recounted her struggles. Although Kaavia served as their “guinea pig,” she was also the driving inspiration behind the brand. Gabrielle wouldn’t mind the 6-year-old sneaking in her products then.
