The celebrations are never-ending in the Wade household. NBA veteran Dwyane Wade‘s daughter recently celebrated her fifth birthday and days later, Kaavia and her mother are up for yet another celebration.
Kaavia’s nephew, who plays football for the New Mexico State Aggies football team recently graduated. To mark the special occasion, Union and Kaavia posted several pictures with Torren James Union along with a clip from his graduation ceremony, sharing glimpses of the journey of their football star.
She posted a clip where Torren can be seen in his graduation robe, waving at his family members from a distance. D-Wade’s daughter also has an Instagram account where she posted pictures with her cousin from when the journey started to how it has progressed so far. Kaavia wrote, “Where are they now? Still spoiled 😂 #collegegraduate.” Union shared the post on her Instagram story with the caption “How it started. High School graduate…How it ended. Student athlete college graduate.”

Sharing her excitement about Torren’s graduation, she said, “A little hassle is worth the tassel.” The Union-Wade family knows a great deal about brilliant athletes. After all, D-Wade is one of the greatest basketball players of all time, and it won’t be wrong to assume that he is hands-on in giving relevant advice to Torren.
The 3x NBA champion has been working on his businesses lately and is putting his knowledge base into his entrepreneurial endeavors.

After his retirement, Wade has invested a lot in several franchises across different sports. Over the years, he has proven to be a smart businessman who has a great understanding of business. Wade’s most recent investment was purchasing a stake in the WNBA’s Chicago Sky. The NBA veteran has talked about his plans to take this franchise to new heights several times (pun intended).
In addition to that, he is also a part of the ownership group that has a stake in the NBA’s Utah Jazz. Apart from the world of basketball, Wade is also an investor in the MLS’ Real Salt Lake.
