NBA legend Dwyane Wade has recently joined the ranks of basketball greats who host their own podcasts: another new venture, the former Heat player decided to explore. In this exciting journey, Wade is fortunate to have a strong supporter by his side. It is none other than Wade’s son, Zaire. The younger Wade has been actively promoting his father’s latest endeavor on social media.

In a recent sighting, Zaire was spotted proudly promoting “The Why with Dwyane Wade,” his father’s podcast, through stylish merchandise. Decked out in a hoodie adorned with the podcast’s distinctive logo, Zaire also sported a matching cap, showcasing his support for the new project. Wade shared the clip on his Instagram and wrote, “I see you with that Thewhypodcast gear on Z Wade!” Zaire also reshared the clip on his Instagram Stories.

This isn’t the first time. Previously, he caught attention by flaunting a shirt featuring a childhood picture of Wade. Even if Zaire didn’t actively promote his father’s new venture, the podcast is bound to succeed, with a growing number of listeners. Now that the 22-year-old has teamed up to support his father, we can expect it to be sooner.

Dwyane Wade’s podcast, ‘The Why,’ has become a sensation

Living up to the promises made during its launch, the show in collaboration with iHeartPodcasts has seen a great start as well as a great response. In the first few episodes, the Miami Heat star brought NBA giants Dirk Nowitzki and Pau Gasol under one roof. Listeners got an insight into their past rivalry as well as about the bond they share now: A truly iconic gesture.

Next, the show had the Heat president Pat Riley and rap star Rick Ross making an appearance in the following episodes. The Why was launched on Wade’s 42nd Birthday. During an interview with People, he spoke about the unique title of his podcast as well. He shared, “And that’s the ‘W’ and the ‘Y’ in my name. Everyone, even up to the Hall of Fame, people were misspelling my name. They always put the ‘A’ before the ‘Y.’ And so I’ve been dealing with the ‘Y’ for a very long time.” Wade has promised to bring an entirely refreshing touch to his podcast.
