Dwyane Wade this past week has been busy with his company Jeeter and its 2nd-anniversary celebration. The “High Dining” event was organized on 4/20 and was held in the West Hollywood Hills neighborhood in Los Angeles. The party had a purpose too. Wade and Co. collaborated with the Last Prisoner Project and made a donation of $26,000. While his son was working on his personal goals in another continent.
Zaire Wade after his stint with Cape Town Tigers in the Basketball Africa League is ready for his next chapter. He will be representing the Macau Black Bears in the ongoing Asian Tournament. The team made an official post on Instagram and wrote “KID FLASH IS COMING TO THE ASIAN TOURNAMENT! Zaire Wade, son of the Miami Heat Legend Dwyane Wade signs with Macau Black Bears!”
It seems the Kid Flash is turning back the clock and reminding everyone of Miami Heat‘s legendary days. Even Wade was in awe of his son’s move and appreciated it on his Instagram story. He wrote “First of many” and tagged Zaire.

The Post was from Wade’s Official Legacy Page, celebrating Zaire’s first bucket in the tournament. Zaire was named on the bench for his first game of the tournament. At half-time, Macau Black Bears were down by 5 points 29-34. But they made the eventual comeback winning the game 77-72. Thanks to their 4th quarter they won 28-19 to eventually tip the game in their favor. Mohamed Kone was named Player of the Game for his 18 points, and 7 rebound contributions.
Zaire Wade’s basketball career
Dwayne Wade’s eldest son started his career in the NBA G League with Salt Lake City Stars. Though the season started on a high as he was the 10th overall pick, it ended in dismay because of a season-ending injury. That setback did not stop him, and he moved to Africa with Cape Town Tigers in the Basketball Africa League.

“I just stopped trying [to please critics] after a while. I think that’s where growth comes in, maturing – I’ve just turned 21, so I’m just learning that I’m not going to be able to please [everybody] at the end of the day,” he told ESPN back in 2023.
Apart from his professional career Zaire is helping Dwyane Wade with his ‘Wade Basketball Academy’ in China. With the help of Li Ning, Dwyane Wade launched his latest venture in collaboration with Chris Johnson’s Jus Hoop.
