Not many might know this but Dwyane Wade has lesser-known talent when it comes to watches. Yep, the Miami Heat icon is not just an avid watch collector but a designer himself. So where else would you have found him recently if not at the launch of Tiffany & Co.’s Titan collection? And boy, did he use the opportunity to flex his fit on the wrist.
Taking to Instagram, Wade shared a close-up of his latest timepiece. A stunning watch featuring the Tiffany & Co. branding on the dial, adorned with what seemed to be Tiffany diamonds. It’s the kind of wrist candy that turns heads, and Wade knew exactly how to make it shine.
More recently, Gabrielle Union Wade also shared an update on their recent attendance at the launch event. “So last night the girlies (and the boys) celebrated the launch of the new @tiffanyandco Titan collection by Pharrell Williams and everybody looked so good,” she wrote. No argument there—both Gabrielle and Dwyane Wade owned the night in sleek all-black ensembles, effortlessly serving high fashion.

For those unaware, the event was held on Tuesday night at the Plaza Athenée, where Pharrell Williams hosted an intimate dinner celebrating his Tahitian pearl jewelry collection for Tiffany & Co. Pharrell’s ability to bring fresh, unexpected flair to luxury jewelry was on full display, and Gabrielle couldn’t help but admire his vision.
“Everything looks different through his eyes, and it’s awesome. It’s always going to elevate your life in some way,” Gab said. “Most people lean into the romance of Paris, or the history, but he shows you this whole sexy side. He shows you the beauty standards that let you be a woman who eats, and who maybe doesn’t have a billion dollars, but there you are, still stepping and serving for the gods.”
Apart from the Wades, the list of celebrity invitees included names like Anya Taylor-Joy, Dua Lipa, Ashley Graham, Sarah Andelman, and more. The Miami Heat icon, however, would’ve likely loved the event the most, given his love for watches.
Dwyane Wade once opened up on his designer work for the watches
The Miami Heat legend has been designing high-end timepieces with Swiss watchmaker Hublot, creating watches that come with five-figure price tags. And when his second collaboration, the Classic Fusion Dwyane Wade, dropped, GQ sat down with him to dive into this lesser-known side of his creativity.
Wade’s first design was all about what he knew best—sports. “That’s the arena that everyone knows me from, so I wanted to bring that to light,” he told GQ in the 2014 interview. But his second watch? That was a whole different game. This time, The Flash wanted it to reflect his evolving sense of style, stepping away from just his basketball roots.
And with experience under his belt, the process moved even faster. No first-time jitters, no hesitation. “This time I knew more, I wanted to learn more, I had a feeling about the watch I wanted,” he shared.
Now, if you’re wondering just how deep his love for watches runs, here’s a fun fact—he didn’t even know how many he owned during the interview. “I’m lucky and blessed to be able to get watches when I ask for them. When I travel I have three or four that I keep in rotation,” he said.
Clearly, watches are not just a passion but an obsession for Dwyane Wade. So there’s hardly any doubt he would’ve had a hell of a time at Tiffany & Co.’s Titan collection launch.
