From having a “trying” childhood to being 3× NBA champion, former Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade’s life has seen unprecedented growth. And what better day to reflect on his achievements than to pay gratitude to those around them on Thanksgiving? While Wade and his wife Gabrielle Union were busy celebrating the special day, their youngest one Kaavia, much like last year grabbed all the limelight with her gothic song duet.
On Thursday, Wade uploaded an Instagram story where his six-year-old daughter was seen singing a duet with a child her age and sharing the stage with confidence. While fans would have expected the 2006 NBA Finals MVP’s youngest one to enjoy pop and hip-hop numbers at this age, it was rather a goth song that seems to have captured her attention.
“Sweet dreams are made of these. Who am I to disagree?” Kaavia looked to be enjoying her performance and having a great time with the Marilyn Manson lyrical. Also, she turned her voice a little screechy like Manson’s, which sent signals that she is a fan of the 55-year-old. The Instagram story of Wade also had other snippets of his Thanksgiving party and enjoying a pop performance by someone who looked to be a guest. Nonetheless, Kaavia’s duet caught the attention of those around her.

Before this Instagram story, Wade in a video on the same platform had shared his love for Thanksgiving some time ago. “What’s my favorite Thanksgiving dish or tradition? Actually my favorite day of the year. And that’s because It’s put on a schedule on the calendar for us to sit down and be thankful. That’s how crazy our lives are.”
Union and Wade have an exquisite palette when it comes to Thanksgiving dishes. Last year, their Chef Ingraham had revealed the favorite savors of the couple for the holidays. Herb Roasted Standing Pork Roast and the Apple and Sweet Potato Cobbler with Bacon Caramel found a place in their favorite list. Wade doesn’t only enjoy the time with his family but extends the celebrations of the day to his loved ones.
“There’s a day on the calendar for us to make sure we are being thankful to our loved ones, to life, to all the things and so, my favorite thing about Thanksgiving is to be able to start a tradition bring everybody, my family, friends everybody to LA, to my home and to give a big Thanksgiving dinner and so we are about 60, 70 deep every year,” Wade had expressed in the video.

And much like last year, this year too, this feeling seeped through when in one of his pictures, the place had a large table where diners were having a lovely time. Plus there was a lighted decoration of the word “FAMILY,” which clearly showed the 42-year-old’s preferences. And much like this time, his daughter Kaavia had proved her show-woman ship the year previous as well.
Dwayne Wade’s daughter Kaavia was the heart of the party last year
Last Kaavia was dressed in a green dress and wore red lipstick. In the videos and pictures shared on the internet, she was seen standing between her parents and had recited a Thanksgiving prayer. Next, she along with Union and Wade had posed for a picture ahead of a shrub that was lit by the light of the “WADE” sign. Union was showing her victory sign during the picture, and in another, the couple kissed.

Besides that, the family also posed for a final group snap where Queen Latifah even joined them along with extended family members. Wade took to Instagram to share all these moments and captioned it “A Wade Thanksgiving! A good a– time!” However, now that Kaavia is growing up, her music taste has changed and who knows she might be a goth queen growing up.
Meanwhile, this year’s duo was enjoyed by everyone. And Kaavia surely has a performer in her, it’s only time before Wade and Union share more other clips from different occasions and make them public.
