Dwyane Wade’s Brutal Bite Back Channels Michael Jackson Energy in Wife Gabrielle for Online Feud With Celtics Legend

One thing is for sure – Dwyane Wade and Paul Pierce aren’t best friends. Their recent back-and-forth has kept fans entertained and stirred up a debate. It started with the Boston Celtics star claiming his career surpassed D-Wade’s. The three-time champion, who will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame on August 12, had something to say about that. Of course, this got their respective fans arguing and picking sides.

Some are just here for the entertainment. Including Mrs. Flash. Actress and Wade’s wife, Gabrielle Union, is not jumping into the fray. But she is enjoying the drama.

Gabrielle Union entertained by her husband’s feud

Since 2019, Paul Pierce has been arguing that his NBA career was better than Dwyane Wade’s. Now in 2023, he revived his opinion during an appearance on the It Is What It Is show. He argued that Wade benefited from spectacular teammates like Shaquille O’Neal, LeBron and Chris Bosh.

Flash has remained silent on this matter for most of it, until recently. Wade appeared on the Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz and he played it cool.

“Listen, rent is expensive in America and I’m living rent-free right now.” The Miami Heat legend added, “I don’t need to say anything… I went and got my Avengers.”

To summarize, Wade is content with his career however it is and he’s not going to argue with another retired pro. He’s cool with everyone arguing and comparing stats while he enjoys life.

Wade is happy with his career that has got him in the 2023 Hall of Fame class. He’s got the support of his wife and their kids too. But Gabrielle might disagree.

After her husband’s response to Pierce, she had the best reaction which summed up all of our thoughts.

Sharing a post about Wade’s response on her Instagram stories, Union pasted the famous Michael Jackson meme sticker. You know, the one of the late King of Pop munching on popcorn in the “Thriller” music video.

Yes, while both camps are arguing about who is better, Union isn’t picking sides. She is instead reaching for her popcorn. Honestly, so are we.

‘The Truth’ doubles down on D-Wade comparison

Pierce has been persistent. He claimed that he would’ve won more titles if he was in a team with Shaq or LeBron James. Fans were very critical of his comments. The biggest comparison they’re throwing is that Wade has won two champions with Heat as opposed to Pierce’s single title.

Fans also reminded him that though he didn’t play with O’Neal, he did play with Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen on the Celtics.

When fans debated his comments, Pierce picked a fight with social media users. “I’m still better at hoop than 99.9 percent of people on Twitter.” That didn’t sit well with fans either. While it is factually accurate, not every Twitter user is a professional basketball player either.

As Wade said, It’s documented.” He’ll let the basketball scribes on social media pull up their notes and present their arguments. He doesn’t need to do that. Even if his wife seems to be having fun with it.
