Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade joined the recently retired Andre Iguodala to speak about his struggles as a producer and why the film industry is a tough one.

Wade has used his entrepreneurial abilities to excel in several business platforms. One of them is the television and digital industry which was pretty unexpected. Well, Wade spoke about it today. Let’s see what he had to say about turning the ‘Redeem Team’ into a film.

The 2008 US Olympics Roster starred Wade, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and many other legends who brought back the gold medal for their nation. Though the Americans have always been the favorite for a gold medal, 2008 was not an easy path at all.?

Coming off the disappointment in the 2004 Olympics, the men’s team had to make a statement in 2008. The fans of the game got to know the struggles faced by Wade and his men only because of the documentary ‘Redeem Team’.?

As a producer of this hit venture, Wade spoke about the hurdles he faced to create it. The 3x NBA champion shared, “It’s a very tough industry. It’s very competitive as we know and so to be able to get wins like the ‘Redeem Team’…it helps but it’s hard to get these scripts passed and get it on TV.”

The Miami Heat icon shared, “I love being a part of telling stories…It’s about highlighting stories man.” He added, “It’s about telling the stories that I want to tell and I feel like you know other people want to hear and listen to.”
