A few retired NBA veterans have joined television companies as analysts of the game that they love the most. However, most of them have started their own podcasts. The podcast culture is growing like wildfire and the latest to join is none other than our Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade. The 41-year-old has ventured into various fields after retirement. He even worked in a television show for a year. But this new attempt can attract more viewership for the guests who are about to star in it. 

As per reports, the 3x NBA champion’s podcast, ‘The Why With Dwyane Wade’, will debut on January 17. It will be a round table interview with his former rivals, Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker, and Pau Gasol. It is expected to be a two-part episode, and with its debut, Wade will officially join his buddies Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James as another podcast host.

Moreover, Carmelo Anthony, Rick Ross, Pat Riley, David Grutman and Lindsey Vonn are a few celebrities we will be seeing on the podcast soon. Looks like no one is stopping Wade from trying his shot at everything. Carmelo Anthony started his podcast, ‘7PM in Brooklyn’ with Kid Mero. James, on the other hand, has made frequent appearances in ‘The Shop’

Wade reveals why he chose podcast as his new venture

The Heat legend has his hand on everything at the moment. As a businessman, the 41-year-old has invested in different industries, such as sports, wine, food, etc. This is not a huge investment, but indeed a new venture.

Wade explained, “As someone who is always curious and wanting to learn, I am looking forward to sitting down with some of my friends, peers, and people I admire most to hear more about their ‘why’ and what motivates them to get up every day to do what they do.”

The 13x All-Star will be teaming up with ‘iHeart Podcasts’, which stream some of the best podcasts across the globe. iHeart Podcasts President has high hopes for Wade and he trusts in his influence. He shared, Dwyane Wade has always been a force on and off the court, and his influence reaches fans of sports, pop culture, and beyond.”
